2 Abstract Current research (aesthetic geometric shapes in postmodern arts) in an attempt to study the aesthetic values of shapes engineering in modern-day art by relying on the basics and elements of composition The search is located in four chapters: 1. The first chapter of the report contains the problem of research, which has ended with a range of questions: 2. Do geometric shapes occupy a presence in the modern arts? How has engineering and systems been activated in the modern art? The research also ensures its relevance, need and objectives. The objectives were: 1-detection of geometric shapes in the arts of the modern century. 2-to observe the aesthetic features of the arts in the modern post. The time limit for the period between 1950 and 2000 of the geometric phenomenon of this duration as a result of technical experimentation, access to modern technical experiments, and spatial work in certified books, personal exhibits, photographers and the Global Information Network (Internet). And with regard to the identification of terms, the researchers identified the following terms that are at the core of the research: aesthetic, geometric shapes, postmodern arts. Chapter II (theoretical framework) included the first two areas of study of aesthetic references and artistic form of engineering in the second, the researcher touched on geometric shapes in contemporary painting. The researchers have investigated the appearance and growth of geometric shapes over the artistic currents in which they are formed. In chapter III (Research Procedures), researchers identified the research community, sample models and a tool in the analysis of the works of Art and which represented (5) sample samples of artists elected from five decades and in which this trend grew to represent a phenomenon in contemporary world art. The researchers from each contract chose two artists who were distinguished from others by confirming engineering as a technical feature in the drawing. In chapter IV, the researchers arrived at the results of the research and then made recommendations and suggestions, with the results being features and as follows: Geometric features have emerged through the expression of the line by means of motion, direction, type, measurement, and relationship mechanisms, which all reveal aesthetic geometric shapes in the postmodern arts it is recommended that engineering topics be adopted in dealing with works of art for their effective impact on the recipient. In order to complement the current research requirements, to benefit the researcher proposes to carry out the following studies: Aesthetic geometric features in contemporary Arabian art. Then seal the search by sources and from God the good luck. The researchers Keywords: geometric shapes, post-modernist arts.
